I decided to take Italys hotel critics advice. They selected what they thought were the three best hotels in Italy. Turns out they had hit the bulls-eye. They were utterly superb hotels. They were called Hotel Gabrielli Sandwirth(Venice), Hotel Fortunella (Pisa) and Hotel Albergo Alla Campana(Rome).

The hotel I will be telling you about is Gabrielli Sandwirth. It's a four star stunner conveniently placed in the centre of town Next to Saint Marks Square and other historical venues. This hotel has stunning water views over looking The Grand Canal and the harbour. There is also a private boat pier for each guest You are on floor 13, room 279 with every feature imaginable Sky TV, Stereo, Express Maker - even a mini fridge stocked full of FREE drinks. I relaxed in the pool and took a nap on the King sized bed before taking a 5 minute walk to what is voted the best restaurant in Italy - Pizzeria Megaone (see restaurant page for more details.
It was an unquestionable 10/10 for me. The cherry on top was that the total cost was just $404 using any payment method you like.
